Sugar Cream Pie

2 1/4 cups cream (or milk)

1 cup sugar

1 stick butter or margarine

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 teaspoons vanilla

Ground cinnamon

1 baked 9-inch pie shell

Add all ingredients except cinnamon and pie shell to a large sauce pan. Cook over medium-high to high heat until thick, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour into baked pie shell and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Allow to cool and set before serving.
