HILLSBORO — The Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Brown, Adams and Highland counties will present a new series entitled “Tri-County R.O.W. – Real Outdoor Women.” The final 2015 event is called “Archery For Beginners” and will take place on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Fallsville Wildlife Area, north of Hillsboro.
The evening starts at 5:30 p.m. with a light meal, followed by instruction, and will end at approximately 8 p.m.
Community members are invited to join other like-minded women to explore the skills necessary to become a successful archer. Whether interested in target shooting or hunting, participants will learn how to improve their accuracy, have fun and be safe.
Pre-registration is required by Sept. 11 and a fee of $15 provides participants with a light meal and materials used during the event. For more information or to receive a brochure, call the Brown County SWCD office at 937-378-4424, ext. 125.
